The dogs have been getting restless since I haven't felt up to being out lately, so I made myself load them up in the truck and take them to the park. I'm really glad I did, they had a blast. Here they are in the truck, ready to go. Ares is in a hurry. This is the "open space" park on the other side of the river from us. They love it here. Usually we throw the ball, but they lost the last one and I haven't bought new ones yet. They had a great time just wandering around smelling everything today. Oh, and the water. More pictures below the fold, click "More" to see them... enjoy! Ares decided it was time to go into the water. I was still halfway up the path, and he went tearing down and dove in. I have no idea why he's such a water dog, but he really seems to enjoy swimming. I also have no idea why he likes to bite the water. He spends most of his time attacking it. Apollo's not as fond of the water... I think it's because he's not a very good swimmer. He panics and flails a lot. Apollo's favorite thing to do is to attack the water drops that fly up when Ares bites the water. They can do this all day long. Seriously. I've watched them. At least it wears them out. This last picture seriously cracks me up. Apollo looks like he's insane. We had a pretty good time. I'm tired, the dogs are tired, now if I could just convince them to go lay outside in the sun to dry off... they stink.
