Dogs at the park
The Colorado National Monument is not far from where I live, and we have a lovely "open space" park adjoining it and the Colorado River. We occasionally take the dogs here for a good run, since there is plenty of room to throw the ball for a good workout.
This is the Monument (or at least part of it):
Beautiful, isn't it? I need to go up there one morning and get a good panoramic shot of this, without all the houses and parking lot in the view.
This is the Open Space Park:
It's not what you would generally think of as a "park", with manicured lawns... it's more just a wild area with native plants and animals. I really like coming down here.
So do the dogs:
I love this picture... Apollo is just so happy when he gets out to run. I love doggie smiles.
"It's right here! Can you see it? It's HERE. Pick it up! Throw it! Come ON!"
"I got it! Look! I'm a good dog! Here I come with the ball for you! Look at me!"
I adore my dogs. Can you tell?
