Clyde
Well, I was wondering what to blog about this week, and apparently he decided to show up on my doorstep.
This is Clyde. Clyde belongs to our neighbor two houses down, and their house just burned up. Everyone made it out ok, including both dogs. I was feeling pretty useless watching her house burn to the ground, so I took it on myself to chase down the dogs and get them somewhere safe. Monster, the other dog, is staying at one neighbor’s house, and Clyde will be staying with us for a few days until they find somewhere for him to stay.
He seems to be a fairly personable dog, and he’s only had to growl at Apollo a few times. Apollo seems to think that he’s in charge here, for some reason, but I think he’ll learn to back off. We made it through dinnertime with no incidents, so things are looking promising. We haven’t had him in the house yet, so we’ll see what happens when he meets the cats.
This should be entertaining.

He’s doing ok, he’s a really laid back dog. Last night kind of upset him, because he didn’t know where to sleep. I finally crated him, and he calmed down enough to sleep.
