What’s in my knitting bag?

I figured it would be a good time to do an update on the projects I’m doing. Currently in my knitting bag are my Feather and Fan Facecloth, the Felici Socks, and the newly started Zombie Socks.

I’m almost done with the facecloth. This pattern knits up quite quickly, and I’m loving the results. Basically, I have one more repeat of the pattern, three rows of garter stitch, then cast off.

The Felici Socks have been put on temporary hold, but they’re moving along nicely. The pattern is a little odd, so you really have to pay attention. I’ve had to tink back a couple of times, and three times I’ve had to drop a stitch and rework it so it’s going in the right direction. I love the way it looks, and the yarn is great to work with. I’ll definitely make more socks out of Felici in the future. I adore the stripes.

The new socks, my Zombie Socks, are for a Knit-a-long on Ravelry. Actually, two KALs. In the A&AC forum, they’re “Zombie Jesus Socks”, and for the MCY drama forum, they’re “Zombie Socks”. Two KALs at the same time, not bad. I picked a grey/black/dark grey yarn from Wisdom Yarns called “Boston“. It has sort of a stripe pattern, but it’s very irregular and I thought that would work nicely with the pattern.

Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment.

The facecloth looks yummy, especially with that yarn. I will have to check back and see how it turns out.
