Zyrtec pretty much puts me in a coma for half the day, but the Xyzal isn&#039;t doing that at all.  From reading the package inserts, drowsiness *is* a side effect, but it&#039;s not very common (less than 2%).  I&#039;m not noticing it at all.  I basically went to my doctor and said &quot;I have four cats and two dogs.  I&#039;m not getting rid of them.  What can I take that doesn&#039;t turn me into a zombie?&quot;
