Ok… never knit while drinking. I knew it was a Bad Idea, and yet I did it anyway. Four stitches in, and I dropped a stitch. Not a good thing. I couldn’t find my teeny crochet hook to fix it, which is probably a good thing. I think I would have messed it up even more had I tried!
Anyway, this morning, sober, I headed off to the store to pick up a new crochet hook. It only took me about 10-15 minutes to fix the problem, cursing and snarling the whole time. I kept messing it up, until my husband reminded me, “You have to hold your mouth right!”
Of course.
So… I have fixed my error, and managed to set the rib pattern in the top of the socks. I’m liking how it looks so far!
I’ll probably knit some more tomorrow… sober, this time.
