Toes!

Finally decided to sit down and take Silver’s Sock Class, and learn how to do two toe-up socks on one circular needle. No more second sock syndrome! So far, it’s going well. The cast on was a bit of a pain, and I’m not quite sure if I did it right, but it’s working. I’m using Berroco’s Comfort in a lovely variegated purple/pink.

Here is the figure-8 cast on:

And the completed cast on:

And finally, toes!

So far, it’s going well. I’ll update as I get further along. Wish me luck!

I can’t stop being drooly over that colourway.

I love the color!!! I’d like to learn to do 2 socks at once, but can’t stand working with circulars.

I really like the color and the yarn… it’s yummy! They’re going to be pretty thick, though, because it’s worsted weight yarn. House slipper socks, I think.

It’s not hard, but I can see where it would be a problem if you don’t like circulars. I learned on them, so I’ve never used anything else.
